FUELED BY AN ENDLESS CURIOSITY FOR THIS WILD WORLD &  THE THRILL OF WAKING UP IN AN UNFAMILIAR PLACE

Inspired by the fleeting moments that occupy the passage of a day, through my images I seek to tell the stories and ideas that unfold around and within me.

The need to travel was instilled in me at a young age.  I am grateful  to have grown up in a family of artists and travelers and learn the meaning of diversity and the importance of curiosity and adventure.  Before I learned how to take a photograph, I learned how to be a traveler.  Travel is when I am most engaged, most inspired and most challenged. Learning bits of a new language and culture, getting lost in winding cobblestone streets or narrow dirt paths, meeting fellow travelers or local people, and taking in every element of every moment - sights, smells, sounds and feelings - this is when I am most alive.  The camera allows me to capture and share this feeling.   Collect moments, not things.

I currently live and work in Los Angeles, CA.

I am a Programs Coordinator at The Lucie Foundation, the non-profit charitable organization dedicated to championing photography.
